MCC Theater will present the world premiere of The Wrong Man, a new stage musical featuring a book and score by Ross Golan. It will begin performances September 18, with opening night set for October 7 at the Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space.

The Wrong Man will reunite Hamilton collaborators Thomas Kail, who will direct, and Alex Lacamoire, who will orchestrate and serve as music supervisor. Travis Wall will choreograph.

This musical tells the story of a man who is accused of a murder he says he didn't commit. Golan has written songs for artists such as Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Michael Bublé, and Idina Menzel. An animated film based on a forthcoming Wrong Man concept album will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 27.

Additional information, including complete casting and creative team, will be announced shortly.
