An American Daughter, a 1997 drama written by Pulitzer Prize winner Wendy Wasserstein, celebrates its official opening night tomorrow evening at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Directed by Evan Cabnet, the story follows a prominent doctor nominated by the President to the position of Surgeon General, and the scandal that threatens her confirmation.

Featured in the cast are Jason Danieley, Diane Davis, Kerry Bishe, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Stephen Kunken, Roe Hartrampf, Carson Meyer, Richard Poe, Will Pullen, and Deborah Rush. Take a look below at the ensemble in performance on the Williamstown Main Stage.
