Amy Jo Jackson, Ellie van Amerongen, and Marissa Simeqi will return for this encore engagement as the three Alisons. Laura Marie Duncan, Luke Gold, Desiré Graham, Cameron Levesque, and Todd Yard are also expected to return.

SpeakEasy founder and producing artistic director Paul Daigreault will once again direct, with Matthew Stern as music director and Sarah Crane as choreographer. The design team will include Cristina Todesco (scenic), Charles Schoonmaker (costumes),
Karen Perlow (lighting), Andrew Duncan Will (sound), and Jennifer Butler (props).

Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron's Tony Award-winning musical is described as follows: "Graphic novelist Alison Bechdel's father was a volatile and brilliant man whose secrets defined her family and her life. Bruce taught high school English, ran the family's funeral home business, and was obsessed with restoring their old house. When he dies unexpectedly, Alison digs deeply into her childhood memories to try and understand how his choices may have influenced her own."
