Tim Barker, Christian Campbell, Frank Deal, Jeb Kreager, Mary Jo Mecca, and Lucy Owen will star in The Active Theater’s production of Jennie Contuzzi’s Body Language at The Workshop Theater. Nathaniel Shaw will direct the play, which runs May 25-June 10, with an opening on May 31.
This dark comedy is about a woman who has spent the better part of her two-year relationship trying to become the person she thinks her boyfriend wants her to be. Now, with a marriage proposal looming, she is desperate to reveal her true self to him, yet fears his rejection if all of her secrets are exposed.
The creative team will include Craig Napoliello (scenic & costume design), Victoria Miller (lighting design), and Jacob Subotnick (sound design).
