Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a special benefit performance of the George and Ira Gershwin musical My One and Only on Monday, November 12, at 7:30pm at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Sutton Foster will star in this one-night-only special event, and Rob Ashford (Frozen) will direct.

With a book by Peter Stone and Timothy S. Mayer, My One and Only is the tale of Jazz Age aviator Captain Billy Buck Chandler and Edythe Herbert, an ex-English Channel swimmer and the star of Prince Nicolai's International Aquacade.

Proceeds from the performance will benefit Roundabout's Musical Theatre Fund, which is dedicated to preserving the art form by bringing familiar and lesser-known works to a new generation of theatergoers, like this spring's Kiss Me, Kate.
