Smash Stars Reunite for One-Night-Only Benefit Concert

Katharine McPhee, Megan Hilty, Jeremy Jordan, and more bring the fictional musical ”Bombshell” to life.

The Actors Fund Benefit Concert presentation of Bombshell, the fictional Marilyn Monroe musical created for the NBC series Smash, was held last night at the Minskoff Theatre.

The sold-out performance featured a host of Smash veterans including Christian Borle (who earned a Tony Award the night before for his performance in Something Rotten!), Will Chase, Megan Hilty, Katharine McPhee, Debra Messing, Jaime Cepero, Brian d’Arcy James, Ann Harada, Jeremy Jordan, Donna McKechnie, Leslie Odom Jr., Ripley Sobo, and Wesley Taylor. With music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, the one-night-only concert was directed by Joshua Bergasse and Scott Wittman, with choreography by Joshua Bergasse and music direction by Marc Shaiman.
