Sanity Island is set to present the world premiere of Natalie Underwood’s A Wendy Story, July 19-28 at Under St. Mark’s Theater. Underwood will also direct.
In this Peter Pan-inspired play, Wendy Darling escapes her life in Jason Hookman’s office by joining up with Pete and his band. For a nice girl who grew up too fast, a step back might be just the step forward she needs.
The cast will feature Yasmeen Jawhar, Joe Yoga, Jen Perney, Bill Chambers, Brian (Beezy) Douglas, Marlon (Marbar) Kaltenborn, Sonseray Reed, Ben Williams, and Debby Bell.
Lighting and sound design are by Maurice Williams.
