Aurora Theatre Company is set to present the Bay Area premiere of Kristoffer Diaz’s The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, August 24-September 30. Jon Tracy will direct.
The play concerns Macedonio “The Mace” Guerra, a middle rank pro-wrestler who may have discovered his ticket to the big time in a charismatic, Indian kid from Brooklyn whom he recruits as the perfect foil to the All-American wresting star and champion, Chad Deity.
The cast features Rod Gnapp, Tony Sancho, Beethovan Oden, Dave Maier, and Nasser Khan.
