Casting has been announced for the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) production of Requiem for a Lost Girl, to run July 17-18 at the Theatre at St. Clement’s.
Created and performed in partnership with a chorus of men, women, and children who have experienced homelessness, the chamber musical explores poverty, mental illness, and addiction at a memorial service for a young woman. The piece will feature Onalea Gilbertson, who wrote the libretto, Elizabeth Stepkowski-Tarhan, Max Ciesielski, John Harris, Drop-In Centre Singers, John Lowery, and the Land’s End Chamber Ensemble.
Requiem for a Lost Girl features music by Marcel Bergmann and direction by Doug McKeag.
