The Old Globe has announced its 2013 Summer Season, under the artistic direction of Adrian Noble.
Repertory productions in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre (June 2 – September 29) will include Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Merchant of Venice – the latter starring Miles Anderson – as well as the Shakespeare-inspired Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard.
N. Richard Nash’s romantic comedy The Rainmaker will play in the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage, July 13 – August 11, while the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre will house the San Diego premiere of Double Indemnity by James M. Cain, adapted for the stage by David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright (July 26 – August 25).
