Old Globe Season to Feature Works By Steve Martin, Marsha Norman, and More

The San Diego Theatre has announced its new lineup.

San Diego's Old Globe Theatre has announced its full 2016-2017 season.

The season will include Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapine Agile directed by Barry Edelstein (February 4-March 12); Fiasco Theater's world premiere adaptation of Molière's The Imaginary Invalid (May 27-June 25); and Nick Gandiello’s The Blameless, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch (February 25-March 26).

The list also features PigPen Theatre Co.'s The Old Man and The Old Moon (May 13-June 18); Lolita Chakrabarti’s Red Velvet directed by Rachel Chavkin (March 25-April 30); Dominique Morisseau's Skeleton Crew directed by Delicia Turner Sonnenberg (April 8-May 7); and Benjamin Scheuer's The Lion (September 29-October 30, 2016).

As previously announced, the season will also feature Marsha Norman, Aaron Thielen, and Michael Mahler's new musical October Sky, running September 10-October 23 under the direction of Rachel Rockwell.
