Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Second Stage Theatre Uptown production of Lila Rose Kaplan’s Wildflower, to run July 13-August 8. The production, which will open officially on July 27, will be directed by Giovanna Sardelli.
The work involves a woman and her troubled son seeking to escape their past in a small town with unexpected consequences. Kaplan’s plays include Aquarium, Catching Flight, and Chicken with Stars.
The cast will feature Nadia Bowers, Ron Cephas Jones, Quincy Dunn-Baker, Jake O’Connor, and Renee Felice Smith. The creative team will include Steven Kemp (sets), Paloma Young (costumes), Lap Chi Chi (lighting), and Jill Duboff (sound).
