Bard SummerScape has announced casting for David Eldridge’s translation of Henrik Ibsen’s The Wild Duck, to run July 13-24. As previously announced, Caitriona McLaughlin will direct the production.
The play centers on a family as it comes to terms with the lies that have been at its center, The company will feature Mary Bacon (Gina), Tom Bloom (Håkon Werle), Sean Donegan (Hjalmar), Dashiell Evans (Gregers Werle), Peter Maloney (Old Ekdal), and Erin Wilhemi (Hedvig).
The creative team will include John McDermott (scenic design), Kay Voyce (costume design), Jane Cox (lighting design), Aaron Rhyne (projection design), and Ryan Rumery (sound design).
