Mark Brokaw, who directed the original Off-Broadway production of Kenneth Lonergan’s This Is Our Youth, will helm L.A. Theatre Works’ staged reading of the play, starring the previously announced original cast members Josh Hamilton, Mark Ruffalo, and Missy Yager. The readings, which are recorded for later radio broadcast, will be performed at Skirball Cultural Center, March 18-22.
The play is set in 1982, on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, where three pot-smoking teenagers are resoundingly rejecting the 1960s ideals of their affluent parents.
