London Hit The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time Opens on Broadway

Seven-time Olivier Award-winning play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has crossed the pond and will open at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre tonight. Based on Mark Haddon's best-selling novel, the play follows 15-year-old Christopher Boone, a math whiz who has trouble understanding social cues. When a neighbor's dog is brutally killed, Christopher embarks on a mission to solve the crime. Simon Stephens (Harper Regan) has adapted the story for the stage. Tony Award winner Marianne Elliott (War Horse) directs.
The cast includes Tony Award nominee Helen Carey (Hedda Gabler), Tony Award nominee Enid Graham (The Constant Wife), Ian Barford (August: Osage County), Francesca Faridany (Macbeth), Jocelyn Bioh (Broadway debut), Keren Dukes (Broadway debut), Mercedes Herrero (Broadway debut), Richard Hollis (Broadway debut), Ben Horner (Macbeth), David Manis (War Horse), Stephanie Roth Haberle (Artist Descending a Staircase), Tom Patrick Stephens (Broadway debut), and Tim Wright (The Bridges of Madison County). Making his Broadway debut, Alex Sharp leads the cast as Christopher.
