Listen to "Sun's Gonna Shine Again" From the Broadway-Bound Bright Star

Bright Star, the Broadway-bound Steve Martin-Edie Brickell musical, has released a music video previewing the song "Sun's Gonna Shine," sung by Carmen Cusack.

Cusack stars as Alice, a role she originated in Bright Star's world premiere production at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre in 2014. Inspired by Brickell and Martin's Grammy-winning album, Love Has Come for You, the story follows a young soldier who is just home from World War II. With the editor of a Southern literary journal, he discovers a secret that changes their lives.

Bright Star recently concluded its pre-Broadway engagement at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Performances begin at Broadway's Cort Theatre February 25 in advance of a March 24 opening.
