Tony Award nominee Justin Bond will offer his new show Justin Bond Rites: Songs of the Neo-Pagan Revolution at Los Angeles’ Upright Cabaret on January 30 and February 7. Thomas Bartlett will serve as the accompanist for the performances.
In Rites, Bond will perform original songs from his recently released Pink Slip as well as covers of a variety of indie and pop tunes.
Bond was nominated for a Tony Award (with partner Kenny Mellman) for Best Special Theatrical Event for Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway, and has also received Obie, Bessie, and Ethyl Eichelberger Awards. He has also performed a solo show, Glamour Damage, appeared in the variety show Lustre, and regularly emcees the performance series Weimar New York. His film credits include Shortbus and Imaginary Heroes.
