Jennifer Ikeda to Star in NAATCO’s Leah’s Train

The National Asian American Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Karen Hartman’s Leah’s Train, February 6-28 at the TBG Theatre. The production, which will open on February 10, will be directed by Jean Randich.

The play focuses on a young doctor who refuses to attend her grandmother’s funeral and what transpires after she boards a train and its destination becomes her Russian-Jewish family’s untold history. Hartman’s other plays include Donna Wants Gum and Goliath.

The cast will feature Jennifer Ikeda, Raphael Aranas, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Kristine Haruna Lee, and Mia Katigbak.
