Stage and screen veteran Jasmine Guy will star in the True Colors’ Theatre Company production of Pearl Cleage’s Blues for an Alabama Sky, to run May 3-31. The production will be directed by Andrea Frye.
The play is set in 1930 Harlem, where torch singer Angel Allen’s auditions and dreams are fading. The cast also includes Eric Ware (Guy), Cynthia Barker (Delia), Joel Ishman (Sam), and Benjamin Brown (Leland).
