Handbook for an American Revolutionary, a new play written and performed by Matthew-Lee Erlbach, celebrates its official opening tonight, July 22, at The Gym at Judson. Directed by Tony Speciale, the work is inspired by Erlbach’s travels around the United States and gives voice to a host of ordinary citizens whose battles are reshaping the country. The Off-Broadway premiere production follows a sold-out reading at 92YTribeca.
