Hailey Kilgore, Will Roland, and More Join 30th Festival of New Musicals

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced initial casting for the 30th annual Festival of New Musicals, taking place on October 25 and 26 at New World Stages.
Performers include Colin Anderson (Carousel), Jeannette Bayardelle (The Color Purple), Mallory Elizabeth Bechtel (Dear Evan Hansen), Allison Blackwell (Pretty Woman: The Musical), Sam Cieri (Once national tour), Rebecca Covington Webber (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Andrew Durand (Head Over Heels), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Greg Hildreth (Frozen), J. Quinton Johnson (Hamilton), Hailey Kilgore (Once on This Island), Janet Krupin (If/Then), Jeremy Kushnier (Head Over Heels), Liisi LaFontaine (Dreamgirls), Jo Lampert (Hundred Days), Caissie Levy (Frozen), Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels), Jacob Morrell (Kinky Boots), Euan Morton (Hamilton), Julia Murney (Wicked), Luca Padovan (School of Rock), Solea Pfeiffer (Hamilton national tour), Emily Rogers (If/Then), Will Roland (Be More Chill), Isabella Russo (School of Rock), Colton Ryan (Dear Evan Hansen), Ryan Shaw (Motown the Musical), Kristen Sieh (The Band's Visit), Graham Stevens (Peter and the Starcatcher), Will Swenson (Waitress), Miiko Toiviainen (XY), Josh Tower (School of Rock), Donald Webber Jr. (Hamilton), Marissa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray), and Tony Yazbeck (On the Town). The festival's participating musicals are 17 Again (book by Marco Pennette, music and lyrics by Alan Zachary & Michael Weiner), A.D. 16 (book by Bekah Brunstetter, music and lyrics by Cinco Paul), Gun & Powder (book and lyrics by Angelica Chéri, music by Ross Baum), Monstersongs (book, music, and lyrics by Rob Rokicki), Row (book by Daniel Goldstein, music and lyrics by Dawn Landes), The River Is Me (book and lyrics by Sukari Jones, music by Troy Anthony), The Wicker Husband (book by Rhys Jennings, music and lyrics by Darren Clark), and XY (book, music, and lyrics by Oliver Houser, developed with Hunter Bird).
