Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Florida Rep’s Dancing at Lughnasa

Full cast and creative team information has been announced for the Florida Repertory production of Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa, to play January 9-February 1. Maureen Heffernan will direct.

Friel’s Tony Award-winning work is a memory play told through the eyes of Michael Evans as he recalls the summer he spent with his mother and her four maiden sisters in a tiny Irish home in 1936.

The cast will feature Rachel Burttram as Chris, Chris Clavelli as Michael, Michelle Damato as Rose, Carrie Lund as Agnes, Lisa Morgan as Maggie, Brendan Powers as Gerry Evans, Peter Thomasson as Father Jack, and Jan Wikstrom as Kate. The creative team will include Marc Hurst (sound design), Matt McCarthy (lighting design), Roberta Malcolm (costume design), and Ray Recht (scenic design).
