Full Cast, Creative Team Announced for Harm’s Way and Man.gov

Full cast and creative team information has been announced for Circus Theatricals’ New York premieres of Shem Bitterman’s Harm’s Way and Man.gov, which will be performed in rotating repertory at the 45th Street Theater, October 10-November 8. Steve Zuckerman will direct.

Harm’s Way is the story of an Army prosecutor investigating a possible war crime perpetrated by U.S. troops against Iraqi civilians, while Man.gov centers around an arms inspector suspected of leaking information to a celebrity reporter.

The productions will feature Josh Allen, Ben Bowen, Robert Cicchini, Christopher Curry, Sarah Foret, Thomas Kopache, Jordan Lund, Wendy Makkena, Britt Napier, Eric Pierpoint, and Jack Stehlin. The design team will include Kitty Rose (sets/costumes), Derrick McDaniel (lighting), and Roger Bellon (original music).

Bitterman won an LA Drama Critic’s Circle Award for Best New Play for The Job. Additional plays include The Circle, Ten Below, Peephole, Night-Side, The Ramp, Beijing Legends, Self Storage, and Iowa Boys. Zuckerman directed Nuts on Broadway, and additional directing credits include The Incredibly Famous Willy Rivers, Ten Below, Unexpected Tenderness, North Shore Fish, Vieux Carre, and When We Dead Awaken.
