Following the success of live musicals produced by NBC (The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz, Hairspray) and Fox (Grease), ABC is set to jump into the game with The Wonderful World of Disney: Little Mermaid Live. In contrast to those fully staged productions, ABC's offering will blend live performances with scenes from the original animated film.

But if you're craving a more complete immersion into the Ariel's kingdom under the sea, here's a sample of the stage adaptation that hit Broadway in 2007. Featuring Sierra Boggess in her Broadway debut, the show's cast also included Tony nominee Norm Lewis (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street) and television star Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). Watch Boggess sing her star-making number as you wait for ABC to make The Little Mermaid part of your world once again.
