The 2016 Tony Award-winning Paper Mill Playhouse began performances of the new Ken Ludwig comedy A Comedy of Tenors, the sequel to Ludwig's 1986 hit Lend Me a Tenor, on February 1. Don Stephenson returns to direct the comedy after directing Lend Me a Tenor for Paper Mill Playhouse in 2013. Check out photos from the new production in the gallery below.

A Comedy of Tenors is described as follows: "One hotel suite, four tenors, two wives, three girlfriends, and a soccer stadium filled with screaming fans. What could possibly go wrong? It’s 1930s Paris and the stage is set for the concert of the century — as long as producer Henry Saunders can keep the amorous Italian superstar and his hot-blooded wife from causing runaway chaos. An uproarious ride, full of mistaken identities, bedroom high jinks, and madcap delight."

Returning to Paper Mill Playhouse for A Comedy of Tenors is the cast of the 2013 production of Lend Me a Tenor: Judy Blazer as Maria, John Treacy Egan as Tito, Donna English as Racón, David Josefsberg as Max, Michael Kostroff as Saunders, Jill Paice as Mimi, and newcomer Ryan Silverman as Carlo.

The creative teams features set design by Michael Schweikardt, costume design by Mariah Hale, lighting design by Stephen Terry, sound design by Randy Hansen, and hair and wig design by Paul Huntley.
