Zack Zadek and Alex Pototsky’s new musical about Steve Jobs will be presented as part of the New Musicals at 54 series.
TheaterMania went behind the scenes at a rehearsal for the upcoming New Musicals at 54 concert reading of Zack Zadek and Alex Pototsky's The Crazy Ones.
The Crazy Ones is described as follows: "In 1982, Steve Jobs was in control. His company, Apple Computer, was on top of the world: His products were changing the work and home life of hundreds of thousands of users every day, and he was exorbitantly, extravagantly rich. But something sinister was brewing underneath the surface – both at Apple, and in Steve's own mind."
Van Hughes, Claybourne Elder, Taylor Trensch, and Noah Zachary will share the role of Steve Jobs. The company will also include PJ Adzima, Jordan Barrow, Katie Boeck, Sarah Cetrulo, Kasie Gasparini, Jared Loftin, Will Roland, Monet Sabel, Barrett Wilbert Weed, Keith White, and Josh Young.
The show is directed by Hunter Bird, with music supervision by Justin Goldner. It will take place on March 15 at Feinstein's/54 Below. There will be two performances: 7pm and 9:30pm.
