Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori's new musical Fun Home enjoyed an acclaimed run at The Public Theater in 2013 before transferring to Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre this spring. For director Sam Gold, that move proved to be an interesting challenge because the musical had to be reworked from classic proscenium staging to an in-the-round theater. Gold, along with designers Ben Stanton and David Zinn eventually found exciting new ways to bring Fun Home's story to life. Find out more in the video below.
