Billy Youth Theatre Gala 2010

Connor Lawson will join the West End company of Billy Elliot The Musical on November 29, playing Billy’s best friend, Michael. Lawson will come to the production having played the role in Shotton Hall Theatre School’s production of the musical for the Billy Youth Theatre 2010 initiative.
Groups that do produce the special version of Billy Elliot The Musical have the opportunity to participate in workshops with the London creative team and present excerpts from their productions in showcases. From these events, certain organizations are invited to participate in a gala performance held in London. In 2010, 115 groups took part in the initiative and applications are now being accepted for the 2011 program.
