Annie Get Your Gun features music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and a book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields. Loosely based on the true story of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley and her tempestuous romance with gunslinger Frank Butler, the musical features many musical favorites, including "You Can't Get a Man With a Gun," "There's No Business Like Show Business," and "Anything You Can Do." The original production starred Ethel Merman and opened at the Imperial Theatre on May 16, 1946.
