Second Stage Theater has announced the cast for the final installment of its Musical Mondays series, a concert performance of the Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey musical Next to Normal, taking place at the Tony Kiser Theater tonight, March 25, at 7pm.

Anthony Rapp will direct a cast that includes Adam Chanler-Berat, Lawrence Clayton, Jennifer Damiano, Louis Hobson, Tamika Lawrence, Isaac Powell, Alice Ripley, Amy Spanger, J. Robert Spencer, Pearl Sun, and Aaron Tveit. Many of the cast members — including Ripley, Spencer, Tveit, Chanler-Berat, and others — were part of the musical's original Broadway cast. Rick Bertone will be the music director.

Next to Normal opened on Broadway in 2009, winning three Tony Awards including one for its original score. The pop-rock musical follows an average American family struggling to keep their various skeletons hidden away and trying to keep their lives afloat while the matriarch suffers with the effects of bipolar disorder.

Musical Mondays is a series of one-night-only concerts of musicals in celebration of Second Stage's 40th anniversary. Previous musical performed on Musical Mondays have included Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years; Julius J. Epstein, Philip G. Epstein, and Stephen Sondheim's Saturday Night; and Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Peter Duchan's Dogfight.
