A First Look at Rob McClure, Malcolm Gets, and Jennifer Bowles in Encores! Irma La Douce

Malcolm Gets, Jennifer Bowles, and Rob McClure are set to star in the New York City Center Encores! production of Irma La Douce, which will run from May 7-11 at New York City Center. The show is the final production of the 2014 Encores! season and will be directed by John Doyle and choreographed by Chase Brock, with music direction by Rob Berman.

Irma La Douce is the tale of a Parisian lady of the evening (Bowles) and the law student (McClure) who falls in love with her. It features music by Marguerite Monnot and English book and lyrics by Julian More, David Heneker, and Monty Norman, with original book and lyrics by Alexandre Breffort.

The cast also includes Sam Bolen, Ben Crawford, Stephen DeRosa, Zachary James, Ken Krugman, and Chris Sullivan.
