Broadway Backwards 5, a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AiDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, was held at Lincoln Center’s Vivian Beaumont Theatre on Monday, February 22. The show had numerous performers singing well-known tunes associated with the opposite gender. Here is the evening’s host, Broadway legend Florence Henderson, who was joined onstage (and after the show) by surprise guest Eve Plumb, who played Henderson’s TV daughter Jan Brady on the classic sitcom The Brady Bunch.
