Tituss Burgess's breakthrough role on Broadway was Sebastian the Crab in Disney's 2007 musical, The Little Mermaid. Currently in Guys and Dolls, he has also been featured on Broadway in the jukebox musicals Jersey Boys and Good Vibrations. An R&B and gospel singer, Burgess studied music at the University of Georgia in his native city of Athens and has a CD titled Here's to You. He has been a soloist with the Prague Philharmonic and in 2007 starred in a regional production of Songs for a New World with Jason Robert Brown, Brian d'Arcy James, and Alice Ripley.
