Geva Theatre Center has announced the productions set for its spring 2012 Nextstage season.
Jenny Allen’s I Got Sick Then I Got Better, to run March 7-11, is a comic riff on one woman’s harrowing adventures after falling down the medical rabbit hole. It will be followed by Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, (March 22-April 1).
The season will continue with Nora Cole’s Voices of the Spirits in My Soul (April 12-15), in which Cole conjures and inhabits the spirits of both her enslaved and free ancestors and other great race women, and Two Jews Walk Into a War by Seth Rozin (April 27-May 20), a funny and poignant play inspired by the true story of the last two surviving Jews in Afghanistan.
