This Side of Paradise Extends Off-Broadway Through May 23

The new Off-Broadway musical about F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, This Side of Paradise, at Theatre at St. Clements, has extended its run, and will now close on May 23.

The show features music and lyrics by jazz artist Nancy Harrow with a book by Harrow and Will Pomerantz, the latter of whom also directs and provides musical staging. The musical explores the lives and loves of the Fitzgeralds, from their first meeting in 1918 in Montgomery, Alabama, until Scott’s death in Hollywood in 1940.

The cast includes Maureen Mueller (Zelda), Rachel Moulton (Young Zelda), Michael Shawn Lewis (F. Scott), Clark Carmichael (Ernest Hemingway), Mandy Bruno (Scottie, the daughter of Zelda and Scott), Jamie LaVerdiere (Callaghan), and Michael Sharon (The Doctor).
