Singular Sensations to Play the Village Theatre

Carol Channing, who earned her place in the Broadway pantheon as the leading lady of Hello, Dolly! and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, will be the first musical theater star profiled in Singular Sensations, a new series beginning November 3 at the Village Theatre (158 Bleecker Street, between Sullivan and Thompson Streets).

For eight performances each week, Singular Sensations will profile a different star in conversation and song. All shows will be hosted and accompanied by the veteran composer and musical director Glen Roven, whose credits include the original productions of A Party With Comden and Green, Pippin, and Sugar Babies.

Tickets are $50. They may be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 212-307-7171 or by visiting the Village Theatre box office. The currently scheduled lineup of stars, with more to be announced soon, is as follows:
