Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the world premiere of Little Children Dream of God, written by Jeff Augustin, as part of the company's upcoming Roundabout Underground season. The production will begin preview performances January 22, 2015, in advance of an official February 17 opening, and will run through April 5, 2015.

Little Children Dream of God follows a soon-to-be mother, Sula, who has braved a perilous journey to the shores of Miami to escape her native Haiti. Determined to forge a better life for herself and her unborn son in America, Sula finds safety in an apartment building that shelters refugees in need. Giovanna Sardelli will direct.

The world premiere play will launch the eighth season of Roundabout Underground, an initiative to introduce and cultivate artists in Roundabout's 62-seat Black Box Theatre, at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. The production's cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.
