Original Broadway Stars Michael Cerveris, Victoria Clark, and More Will Reunite for One-Night-Only Titanic Concert

Members of the original Broadway cast of Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's Titanic, including Tony Award winners Michael Cerveris and Victoria Clark, will reunite for a concert staging of the Tony-winning piece at Avery Fisher Hall on February 17, 2014. Manhattan Concert Productions, which presented a similar concert staging of Ragtime earlier this year, produces the evening.

Directed by Titanic original cast member Don Stephenson, with musical direction by original conductor Kevin Stites, the concert will feature Cerveris and Clark reprising their roles as Thomas Andrews and Alice Beane, along with original stars Becky Ann Baker as Charlotte Cardoza, John Bolton as Charles Lightoller, Bill Buell as Edgar Beane, Mindy Cooper as Edith Corse Evans, Allan Corduner as Henry Etches, David Costabile as William Murdoch, Alma Cuervo as Ida Straus, John Cunningham as Captain E.J. Smith, Lisa Datz, David Elder as Frederick Fleet, Brian d'Arcy James as Frederick Barrett, David Garrison as J. Bruce Ismay, Jody Gelb as Eleanor Widener, Erin Hill as Kate Mullins, Robin Irwin as Marion Thayer, Joseph Kolinski as Benjamin Guggenheim, Theresa McCarthy as Kate Murphey, Drew McVety as Herbert J. Pitman and J.H. Rogers, Martin Moran as Harold Bride, Michael Mulheren as John B. Thayer, Jennifer Peich as Kate McGowan, Ted Sperling as Joseph Bell and Wallace Hartley, Clarke Thorell as Jim Farrell, and William Youmans as J.J. Astor.

New to the company are John Jellison as George Widener and Frank Carlson, Jill Paice as Caroline Neville, Ron Raines as Isador Straus, and Ryan Silverman as Charles Clarke. The production will also feature 250 singers from across the country, accompanied by the New York City Chamber Orchestra.

The creative team includes Liza Gennaro (choreography), Narelle Sissons (scenic design), Stephen Terry (lighting design), Shawn Sagady (projection design), and Kimberlee E. Winters (assistant lighting design).
