Welcome to New Music Monthly, a distillation of the best Broadway albums out there, with our favorite tracks selected for your enjoyment. After all, so much new music is released every month that it's really hard not to miss something.

The music we're really jazzed about month includes the new West End recordings of Stephen Sondheim's Company (featuring Rosalie Craig and Patti LuPone) and Follies (with Imelda Staunton and Janie Dee); the cast recordings of Broadway's The Prom and Indecent, and of Encores! Off-Center's Songs for a New World; the energetic album of Fox's recent broadcast of Rent; and the sneak peeks at both The Jonathan Larson Project and Ben Platt's upcoming solo album.
