Love and Human Remains to Open at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater This Summer

Playwright Brad Fraser, best known for his work on the hit Showtime series Queer as Folk, will open his provocative play Love and Human Remains at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater on July 21. Directed by Clyde Baldo, the play will star Frances Brennand Roper, Zach McCoy, Kerri Lynn Miller, Nicholas Baroudi, Paul Castro Jr., Cassandra Paras, and Dan Almekinder.

Love and Human Remains is a dark-humored drama about the intertwined lives of seven individuals. The plot centers on David McMillan, a former actor and current waiter watching his 20s tick away. Together, with book-reviewing roommate Candy, best friend Bernie, and S/M prostitute friend Benita, David encounters a number of seductive strangers on their search for love and sex. However, the games turn ugly when it appears one of them might be a serial killer.

Fraser's past works include Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love and Poor Super Man, both of which were featured on Time magazine's lists of Top Ten Plays in the years they were produced.
