The National Theatre of Scotland's Let the Right One In, currently running at St. Ann's Warehouse, has announced that it will extend its run through March 8. The American-premiere production, directed by Tony Award winner John Tiffany with associate direction/movement by Tony nominee Steven Hoggett, was originally scheduled to close on February 15.

Adapted by Jack Thorne from John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel and screenplay, the drama is a coming-of-age romance between a bullied high school student and his new next-door neighbor, a girl who happens to be an ageless vampire. It was first produced by the National Theatre of Scotland before running at London's Royal Court and at the West End's Apollo Theatre.

Rebecca Benson stars as the vampire Eli, a role that she originated in Dundee and then played at the Royal Court and on the West End. The cast also features Cristian Ortega, Cliff Burnett, Susan Vidler, Gary Mackay, Gavin Kean, Graeme Dalling, Angus Miller, and Andrew Fraser.

The production features original music by Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds, set design by Tony Award winner Christine Jones, lighting design by Chahine Yavroyan, sound design by Olivier Award winner Gareth Fry, and special effects design by Jeremy Chernick.
