Jena Malone Will Replace Heather Goldenhersh in Doubt

Film star Jena Malone, who is currently featured in Pride and Prejudice, will replace Heather Goldenhersh as Sister James in the Broadway production of Doubt on January 10. She will join fellow Doubt newcomers Eileen Atkins and Ron Eldard, who are taking over from Cherry Jones and Brían F. O’Byrne, and Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox, who will continue in the role of Mrs. Muller.

Malone will make her Broadway debut in Doubt. Her film and television credits include Saved, Cold Mountain, Hope, and Bastard Out of Carolina. She also has roles in four upcoming films: Lying, The Go-Getter, The Container and Four Last Song.

Doubt was directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes. The play has won every major theatrical award, including the Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Obie Award, Lucille Lortel Award, and Drama Critics Circle Award.
