Catch Me If You Can Broadway Cast Recording Set fo May 23 Digital and June 28 In-Store Release

The original cast recording of the new Broadway musical Catch Me If You Can will be available for digital download on May 23. The album, released by Ghostlight Records, will be available for in-store purchase on June 28.

Based on the 2002 Steven Spielberg film of the same name, the show, with a book by Terrence McNally, music by Marc Shaiman, and lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman, centers on Frank Abagnale, Jr., a world-class con artist who is pursued by straight-arrow FBI agent Carl Hanratty.

The 17-track disc has been produced by composer Shaiman, along with Scott M. Riesett, and will be accompanied by a liner note from Abagnale.

The show stars Norbert Leo Butz as Carl Hanratty, Aaron Tveit as Frank Abagnale, Jr., Tom Wopat as Frank Abagnale, Sr. , Kerry Butler as Brenda Strong. Rachel De Benedet as Paula Abagnale, Linda Hart as Carol Strong, and Nick Wyman as Roger Strong.
