DOMA Theater Co. Announces Casting for Passion

DOMA Theater Co. has announced casting for its production of the musical Passion, to play MET Theatre’s Mainstage, August 19-September 11. Marco Gomez will direct.

The Tony Award-winning musical, by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, charts a love triangle in 1863 Italy that involves a handsome army captain, his beautiful mistress, and the plain and sickly cousin of the regiment’s colonel.

The cast will feature Lindsay Zana as Fosca, Melissa Cook as Clara, Nathaniel Reynolds as Giorgio, Sean McSweeney as the Doctor, Ricky Webster as the Colonel, and Corinne Devries, JC Chavez, Edgar Edgerly, and Timothy Miller as the lieutenants.

The production team will include musical director Brian Michael, choreographer Angela Todaro,set designer JC Chavez, costume designer Brandy Jacobs, sound designer Joseph Montiel, and lighting designer Cullen Pinney.
