Christopher Bloch, Felicia Curry, Edward Gero, et al. Set for Ford’s Theatre’s A Christmas Carol

Ford’s Theatre has announced casting for Michael Wilson’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, to run November 20 – January 2. Michael Baron will direct the production, which will feature choreography by Shea Sullivan.

In Dickens’ classic, a man finds that his miserly ways are reformed after he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future on Christmas Eve.

The company will feature Edward Gero (Ebenezer Scrooge), Christopher Bloch (Bob Cratchit), Felicia Curry (Ghosts of Christmas Past and Future), Anne Stone (Ghost of Christmas Present) and Drew Eshelman (Jacob Marley), along with Brooke Bloomquist, Michael Bunce, Steven Carpenter, Erin Driscoll, Jamie Eacker, Rick Hammerly, Helen Hedman, Amy McWilliams, Stephen F. Schmidt, Tom Story, Bligh Voth, Jacob Yeh, Carolyn Agan, and Vishal Vaidya.

The young people’s ensemble for the show will include Nicholas Snipes and Stephen Scholl, alternating the role of Tiny Tim, as well as Rachel Boyd, Tori Carter, Colin Cech, Caleigh Davis, Breana Hogberg, Lexi Rhem, Leo Scheck, Rudy Schreiber, Katja Volker and Samara Watkins.

The creative team will consist of scenic designer Lee Savage, costume designer Alejo Vietti, lighting designer Rui Rita, and composer and sound designer Josh Schmidt.
