The 18th Annual Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival, which will take place on June 12-13 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, has announced plans to present new works from Atlantic Theater Company, Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theatre Company, Primary Stages, and South Coast Repertory.

The Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival brings performing-arts professionals together in the Rocky Mountains to continue Perry-Mansfield's founding principle of nurturing new talent through new work. The festival is presented under the artistic direction of Andrew Leynse (artistic director of Primary Stages), producer and director of theater Emily Tarquin (Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theatre Company), and executive producer Jim Steinberg with sponsorship from the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust.

This year's offerings include Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theatre Company's I Love to Eat by James Still (June 12 at Chief Theater), South Coast Repertory's Madwoman in the Volvo by Sandra Tsing Loh (June 12 at Chief Theater), Atlantic Theater Company's Dance Nation by Clare Barron (June 13 at Main Studio), and Primary Stages' Miller, Mississippi by Boo Killebrew (June 13 at Main Studio).

"We are extremely proud and excited about this year's diverse Festival offerings and our institutional partnerships," said Leynse in a statement.
