Full Cast, Creative Team Set for The Birthday Party at Signal Ensemble

The full cast and creative team have been announced for Signal Ensemble Theatre’s 50th anniversary production of The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter in the Studio at Chopin Theatre, July 26-August 30. Aaron Snook will direct.

The Birthday Party follows Stanley Webber, a retired pianist, who has left his life as a concert pianist behind and settled into a quiet seaside boarding house when two strangers roll into town on a mission to take him away. One of Pinter’s favorite charities, Amnesty International, will receive $5 from every ticket sold on Saturday, August 2.

The cast will feature Signal ensemble members Vincent Lonergan (Petey), Joseph Stearns (Stanley), and Philip Winston (McCann), with guest artists Leah Nuetzel (Lulu), Mary O’Dowd (Meg), and Will Schutz (Goldberg).

The creative team will include Anthony Ingram (sound design), Elsa Hiltner (costume design), Melania Lancy (set design), and Sue Ragusa (lighting design).
