Tony nominee Denis Arndt (Heisenberg) has joined the cast of Young Jean Lee's Straight White Men, replacing Tom Skerritt in the role of Ed. Skerritt has bowed out of the Second Stage Theater Broadway production for personal reasons. Performances will still begin at the Hayes Theater on Friday, June 29, with opening night set for Monday, July 23.

In Straight White Men, "it's Christmas Eve, and Ed has gathered his three adult sons to celebrate with matching pajamas, trash-talking, and Chinese takeout. But when a question they can't answer interrupts their holiday cheer, they are forced to confront their own identities."

Arndt completes a cast led by Armie Hammer, Josh Charles, Paul Schneider, Kate Bornstein, and Ty Defoe, all of whom make their Broadway debuts with the production. Anna D. Shapiro directs.

The production features scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Suttirat Larlarb, lighting design by Donald Holder, and sound design by M.L. Dogg.
