Be More Chill Announces Rush Ticket Lottery for Select Performances

The Joe Iconis-Joe Tracz musical is running at the Lyceum Theatre.

Be More Chill has announced a $40 digital lottery for select performances, beginning Tuesday, April 16.

A limited number of tickets will be sold here, with the lottery opening as early as midnight the day before the performance, with entries closing at 3pm. Winners will be notified the day before the performance in two groups, at 9am and 3pm. Seats are limited to two per winner, and tickets may be in the balcony, mezzanine, or orchestra, depending on availability. Seats may be partial view, and blackout dates may apply.

A limited number of $40 rush tickets will continue to be available for purchase in person on a first-come, first-served basis at the Lyceum Theatre box office for that day's performance only.

Inspired by the novel by Ned Vizzini, Be More Chill features a score by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz. The Broadway cast features Will Roland as Jeremy, George Salazar as Michael, Gerard Canonico as Rich, Katlyn Carlson as Chloe, Stephanie Hsu as Christine, Tiffany Mann as Jenna, Lauren Marcus as Brooke, Britton Smith as Jake, Jason Tam as the Squip, and Jason SweetTooth Williams as Jeremy's Dad and Mr. Reyes. Off-Broadway understudies Cameron Bond, Troy Iwata, and Talia Suskauer will be joined by Anthony Chatmon II, Morgan Siobhan Green, and Joel Waggoner for the Broadway run.

Be More Chill is directed by Stephen Brackett with choreography by Chase Brock. The creative team includes Beowulf Boritt (scenic design), Bobby Frederick Tilley II (costume design), Tyler Micoleau (lighting), Ryan Rumery (sound design), Emily Marshall (musical direction), and Charlie Rosen (orchestrations). The musical premiered in 2015 at Two River Theater, in Red Bank, New Jersey, and ran in the summer of 2018 at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
