Seana McKenna to Star in Merrimack Repertory Theatre’s Shakespeare’s Will

Acclaimed Canadian actress Seana McKenna will star as Shakespeare’s widow, Anne Hathaway, in Merrimack Repertory Theatre‘s production of Vern Thiessen’s Shakespeare’s Will, to run January 10-February 3.

The MRT season will also include William Donnelly’s Homestead Crossing (September 6-30), about two couples who become mysteriously intertwined; Kathleen Tolan’s mother-daughter drama Memory House (October 25-November 18); John Kolvenbach’s Half ‘n Half ‘n Half (November 29-December 23), about married life in a repertory theatre company; John Logan’s Tony-winning play about Mark Rothko, Red (February 14-March 10); David Auburn’s Tony-winning Proof (March 21-April 14), centering on the daughter of a recently deceased mathematician; and David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Glengarry Glen Ross (March 21 – April 14), a cut-throat drama about salesmen.
